England take on Scotland on Saturday, October 1, 2011 in the 36^th Rugby World Cup 2011 game that will begin at 2030 hours local time. The match will be a vital one and will be played at the best stadium in New Zealand, the Eden Park, Auckland.

The two teams have been regulars at playing each other in international Tests and in the 128 games they have played, England lead the count 68-42. 18 of the games have also ended in a draw, speaking of the history between the two teams.

The last time the two sides met was in a Six Nations encounter that went to England, 22-16.

England will go into the game with a really strong side, knowing that only a win will allow them to remain at the top spot. A loss here would mean that there is a three-way tie between them, Scotland and Argentina and then, the bonus points and the points difference will come into play.

Courtney Lawes will make it to the squad, as will the likes of Matt Stevens and Delon Armitage to make it a solid-looking side.

There will be six changes to the Scotland side as Andy Robinson looks to ensure that he can get going with some tries for his side. In the entire tournament, Scotland have made only four tries and that will need to go given that they need to win the game with a bonus point to ensure that they make it through to the next round.

Captain Alistair Kellock is also back into the side after he missed first couple of game.

England, who have 14 points from three games with wins over Argentina 13-9, Georgia 41-10, and Romania 67-3, will need to get going with only a point to qualify but a win to carry the form forward.

Scotland beat Romania 34-24, Georgia 15-6 but lost to Argentina 12-13, a giveaway that they find it is difficult to score too many tries. This will need to change if they need to make it through to the next round.
